Francie 6,368
This is hypothetical from a standpoint saying lurchers cannot control fox anymore but lol ......socks whippety little buggers or gilbeys strong beast v fox....... Francie 6,368
Oh right lol just pulling your leg socks, but i still think the bull would put to bed more sharp ends than your merles? Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
Maybe but what else would it do that day night better than my dog ??? I can guarantee my bitch would be working long after the bull cross was blown out ...... Quote Link to post
Francie 6,368
A good bulllurcher would put away 2,3, maybe 4 foxes a night or day, from my point of view an probably just my preference, that beats a a lurcher putting away hundred rabbits in a day night. Suppose its just what your preference is mate. 1 Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
Ok so after the three foxes what else can it put away that night or day ... that's my question ... could it go on two track a few deer or hares or switch over to being a ferreting dog or work with a gun etc ....... 1 Quote Link to post

Francie 6,368
If YOU trained the bull then id say yes lol. From my point a lurcher that dont like sharp end is not my cup of tea, as i think there useless lol. Catching rab an hare or ferreting doesnt take much balls, maybe more training tho. So when i say one trick pony id put lurchers into two, ones that like teeth an ones that dont, might be a bit narrow but thats my two pence worth mate. Quote Link to post
