Well i got this off Mhopton when i was down at his yesterday

 

and i told him i would refurbish it and send it down to blackbrier for the kids at the shooting club

 

its a webly hawk 22 it shoots well and is in prity good nick just needs a bit of tlc

 

Mark is going to sort the sites out for it as he has them put away some where safe

 

im the same put some thing away safe that safe i cant find them lol

 

any way its going to the kids at the shooting club so ill have her right for them when she is done

Action stripped and ready for polishing

 

Mark has done a good job with the internals piston is in good nick

 

spring is good to i new it was as when i fired it it was nice and smooth im just going to polish the spring ends and the piston

 

iv stripped the stock as well ready for sanding

 

its got a little grain in it and ill bring this out

Jimmy I'm 95% sure I've got the plastic piston rings for the hawk I just put 'O'rings on I think and with it been the mk2 and interchangeable barrel someone may have the 177 barrel laid doing nothing and kindly donate it to you for the gun club . If your needing the sites sooner I'll post them up to you anyway I'll I send them up straight away I've just remembered where they are

That has brought back some memories.. "THE HAWK" First gun I ever shot. Me auld Da had one with the interchangeable barrels. First spuggy/stinker/woody with it the early 80's out of the bedroom window protecting the veggie patch. Remember the time I didn't lock the barrel in properly and the barrel fell out of the bedroom window and stuck in soil like an arrow..could I feck get the soil out, tried shooting a couple of pellets through it (wasps or Caledonian "spelling" ) which made things worse! Lol. Oh..and the ricochet! Me Da should have hid it better....couldnt wait for him to go to work...??
