I love a good roast dinner.

...... Everything about it - buying the bits, planning, cooking. I love cooking - my missus says I do it Floyd style

It's nice to have the family round and do everything from scratch and, cook a couple of different meats.

As already said - you just can't beat a nice bit of crackling

Beef, Lamb, chicken then pork. You have to have a good roast and I don't care what day it is on either. I was spoiled by me grans roast and yorkshires that you could hardly get out the oven. Bloody amazing grub. I try and follow her steps. Got to admit i rarely make my own yorkies though as we don''t have them every roast. Also you have to admit good old aunt bessy are not that bad. Gran would be turning in her grave at that one

Well I'm going to be the odd man out. I have very little interest in food. I would quite happily take a pill which contains all the nutrients I need and forget about food. I just don't get what all the fuss is about . I drive my Mrs mad because she loves to cook and keep saying 'can you taste that herb, that flavouring etc?' I always say I can. But truthfully I couldn't give a f**k whether my food is hot or cold, spicy or bland. No interest. I know I'm missing out on something big but f**k all I can do about it. The plus side is I don't put on weight. My weight is only a few pounds more than when I was a teenager.

I love a roast dinner every Sunday throughout autumn and winter. I think it keeps my Mrs mentally stimulated preparing the veg, roast potatoes and all the trimmings knowing she`s working against the clock.I tell her what I want and what time I want it on the table. I`ll chill out with my feet up watching the football whilst she`s grafting in the kitchen. Her food is usually top drawer and I without fail thank her with a loving slap on her butt when I leave her to do the dishes. I hope the tradition never goes away.

That's a bit sad mate. Food is massive in our house. The first thing my four year old asks when I pick him up from school is "what are we eating tonight?" everyday.......But I am a great cook! Haha....
