She said: "They have money to spend on booze, so they have the money to buy food. Many are alcoholics, [who] to keep a certain consumption level, will drink continuously. "It turns into group, then a bigger, now we’re eating pigeons, now we’re killing seagulls. It escalates."

Greyman 28,948
It's a standard tactic by councils and governments, first plant the seeds of doubt in everyone's mind and no one will raise an eyebrow in a couple of months time when they declare all out war on the homeless and move them out of veiw of the money spending public, they should pay them for pest control not condemn them and finally would a street allkie really go and buy seeds when most of there grub comes from the bins outside mcD,s total bollacks, anyway I,m off for my lunch now wing anyone

WILF 47,624
Sounds like win win, good luck to anyone who want to eat those scabby ferals. It's a sad state of affairs when one of the wealthiest countries has the poverty and deprivation we do. Immigration policy has certainly ruined many lives, I don't imagine a lot dream of drug and alcohol ism and being homeless eating flea ridden pigeons. Great post mate

jiggy 3,209
You would burn more calories plucking and dressing a pigeon than the return from eating it.

They should have got the hint by now. What hint? The vast majority earn good coin , have their own businesses , own community. Most sites I work on in the southeast I'm the minority, they'll work in far worse conditions, doing unsafe work for less money, or equal money, or take it in on price. I honestly don't see how British labour can compete. They can return home after 10 years own a couple of houses and set themselves up. Here you're chasing your tail til you die, unless you own property. Anyways, blah blah blah. It is what it is, In a nutshell mate.
