grompz 706
,just curious, have any of you guys ever eaten pheasants eggs, was having a chat with the mrs last night, and she says to me, you can get hen, duck, goose, quail, and even ostrich eggs to eat, but never see pheasant eggs in supermarkets, are you not allowed to sell them to retailers,or would they be no good to eat,or is there a greater demand for them in the game rearing business. gnipper 6,584
They are more valuable as chicks to sell them as eggs for eating. I've not tried pheasants eggs but I've ate guinea fowl eggs and they have really hard shells and give you bad farts.
