Greyman 28,084
Ah right so because I can claim a few quid back if I buy a brand new box that means I shouldn't be allowed to have the chance of a freebie like everybody else ..... Yeah. 20 percent of nothing equals nothing which is the exact amount socks can claim back against his tax,

Yeah. 20 percent of nothing equals nothing which is the exact amount socks can claim back against his tax, A locator is a tool of the trade and therefore is 100% tax redeemable if you buy new. Give the locator to someone who needs it not wants it.

I think if you put a locator on your tool list the tax man would have something to say about it? I must be cut from a different cloth, but I would rather give it to someone in need, like a youngster or a man with a young family or someone finding it hard to make ends meet. Not someone who can go into any shop, buy one and claim the lot back. I mean surely Socks you have a locator or three? How many do you need?
Blackbriar 8,569
I had to save up for my locator, without the good lady knowing - she'd only find some old tat to spend it on ! Told her it only cost me 30 quid......
