Terrible news to read. I've lost a good friend from my RAF days to a bad smash on his bike seven years ago. I still miss his company and friendship and wonder....My sincerest condolences and sympathy.

 

It's not the bikes so much, as too many blind and brainless pillocks allowed to drive cars, for my liking.

Such a waste of life, he seemed a fair sort and took some ribbing like a bloke should, I never knew him but you get a feel from reading things people write, I liked him.

Yes, the big fella was taken too early but, it sounds like he'd had an interesting life - it's always nice when a funeral is more of a celebration.
