They get up to speed faster than any lurcher. Atb My old lurcher raced many whippets and beat everyone from take off and top speed. Maybe not turned as quick but definatly a lot faster straight line. Shes more like a whippet with thicker skin and a bit of coat. I still had to put a awful lot of work into her and get her lamping at every opportunity and stop her hunting up. Theres no many rabbits that gets away from her on the lamp. Her only downside is shes stubborn and was very hard to train. Quote Link to post
