Feeding

Recommended Posts

intrested to know people opinions on feeding working and racing dogs. Coming from a lifetime of racing greyhounds I can honestly say the more you've been in the game the less you use in rehgrds to pretty much anything. When I first started out I had them on pretty much everything breakfast us to be cereal milk honey eggs and glucose and white e

Tea was gain 28 and brown bread nuggets 1 pound of meat pasta gain garmivit tye gard brewers yeast cod liver oil and bit c

Looking back it was more like a pharmacy lol.

These days it's just simple

Either a bone or something dental orientated for breakfast and gain 28 with half a pound of beef 6 days and either fish or chicken the 1 day no vitamins or anything added only pearl barley after a race that flushes all the system out. Dogs run better than ever now. Because I've learnt you can give them what you want if it ain't sound its no good for nothing. A sound and fresh dog will always prevail. And if it's a fast dog there's no need for these addatives cause all they do to be fair is piss them out

A lot of working dogs don't need extra supplements, because of the work load.

White-E should never be fed with any minerals/supplements containing iron as it prevents it from working.

You need more than an average diet to be doing 3 out off 3 on A Regular basis..

Happy Hunting..
