I've returned to the UK after many years away and going through my mountains of junk and found this book Lambourn. Doug Cooper, Plummer, Mike Douglas, Mad Jim the Blacksmith and a few more dog men every year, wish it was still going.

I would not worry about getting in to books,we talking lurchers and they bred for hunters trying ta make coin or crust to supplement there family ,Geoff battans a real die hard hunter his I believe still around and fo me represents what lurchersare supposed to be about ,to many got in to looking for fame while those real die hard hunters like of has old stood in the shadows not wanting it any other way .
