A mate of mine asked if i would go and shoot a few rabbits from a guys house. He said no dogs which was a bit of a bummer as my young dog could do with the experience.Anyway went there tonight to have a look and f**k me it is like Watership down there must of been two hundred rabbit on about half a acre of grass.We had a quick walk round and all the rabbits buggered off.From what i can see shooting them is going to be the best way of making a dent in them. Had a hour or so shooting and had one or two . Made an enjoyable evening and got the ferrets a bit of meat. Going to make a bit of a hide as there is not many places to get out of sight from them should be able to fill the freezer from there.Was not going to bother glad i went now

Well done this is why you should check out any new permissions you get asked to shoot no matter how small could lead to things bigger or better than you expected .

Nice going mate but with so many in such a small space hit them hard get what you can in case the dreaded myxi makes a appearance

There is about 300 yards of brambles that back onto this guys land and it is well overgrown and a canal that runs up the other side.They are quite isolated so hopefully myxi wont be a problem. Nice place to spend a few hours
