Joe_1987 12
My 13 month staff bull bitch has started to suffer with red scabby paws, only started recently, diet hasn't changed and I clean and dry her feet whenever we get back from the field, would cleaning them with TCP be ok? Pirate 9000 676
If it's a agricultural grass field may have been treated with fertiliser or sprayed both could cause iritation on dogs feet. Quote Link to post
Joe_1987 12
Not agricultural just public woodland and fields Quote Link to post

Joe_1987 12
Don't think it's Alabama rot as one day it flares up then the next day it's not to bad. Quote Link to post

I've had a terrier here with demodectic mange, it shows up on their feet and muzzle too because it's where they come into contact with their mother while they're still on the tit. Again your best option is taking it to a vet for a skin scrape, it can be confirmed one way or the other Quote Link to post
