Hawk17 15
I used three good coats of shed and fence paint. Job done! Edited August 26, 2017 by Hawk17 Quote Link to post
budgie123 163
Sadolin durable wood stain. This type of product is micro pourus allowing water out but not in. If you paint with a gloss or normal varnish you just seal the water in an the box will rot. I give my boxes a good clean end of season quick rub down with wire wool and 1 coat of sadolin and boxes are like new. I have used sadolin for years on my wooden windows and 23 years later they are still in A1 condition. 1 Quote Link to post
