I know several Jews - decent, law abiding people, every one of them.   I have no issue at all with Jewish people, and I have great respect for the Israelis....... their willingness to fight fire wit

there not blowing anyone up , mowing people down , shooting , stabbing and beheading people on the streets of Britain or forcing there religion on anyone ...better them than the Moslem lunatics ..

They were .  trawniki men were attached , if I remember rightly to , einstazgruppen squads and as camp auxiliary guards. A lot of these mid - Eastern European men simply vanished into the turmoil

There were Romanian and Ukrainian Nazi collaborators involved in the holocaust who were shot for war crimes in Crimea and Transnistria.

Cheers.

There were camps in France too. We visited on in Gurs where they detaineď Jews, gypsies and other 'undesirables' before sending them by rail to the death camps. It started out housing Spaniards fleeing Franco on the basis that if they weren't fascists they must be communists. Then they detained all the Germans after Germany invaded France and latterly became a Nazi concentration camp under the Vichy government. The hut where 60 prisoners would have been housed was barely bigger than our motorhome.

watched a program on the nazi death camps...the Romanian and Ukrainians gassed and killed untold Jews in the second world war..as sick as the Nazis...how come none  of them were tried for war crimes?

The Nazis got the Ukraniuns to do the dirty work when the germans themselves started to sicken of it. I think the idea was to bung the Ukrainiuns in last.

trawniki men were attached , if I remember rightly to , einstazgruppen squads and as camp auxiliary guards. A lot of these mid - Eastern European men simply vanished into the turmoil of Europe post the collapse of Berlin . However the late 80s saw several high profile trials of such people , most notably fedor federenko and of course , John demjanjuk.
these people , put bluntly were animals .

by and large the trawniki men were from the myriad greater Russian satellite states or from country’s the nazis deemed the people as being from Germanic stock such as tartars , ukes etc.

I find that whole thing fascinating , being a Russian soldier , then captured and seconded to an ss unit to inflict untold atrocities on your supposed cultural enemies ( remember , these countries were never exactly modicum’s of sematic brotherhoods themselves ) then disappear to the us and live in anonymity for the remainder of your lives .

john demjanjuk was identified as being Ivan the terrible , the treblinka guard who took swords to the waiting women and children amongst the jews awaiting the gas chambers .

when he worked at the ford plant in Cleveland I think  , he was extremely popular for his kindness , his work ethic , his love of family , the church and the wider Ukrainian community . He was the perfect example of a sociopath .

there’s a fantastic series about it on Netflix called the devil next door . Worth a watch .
