Dog Bones For Ferrets?

Been given 2 beef knuckles for ferrets by my neighbour, there the cooked type for dogs.

 

Are the ferrets aloud them?

At a guess I'd imagine they'd splinter quite badly . Have my dogs some years ago and they splintered so I won't get them anymore just incase

They wont eat the actual bones just the meat and marrow out of them, too hard for their teeth. Mi e always steal the dogs bones. Their more likely to bury it or stash it behind a shed.

I have heard knuckle joints and any strong weight bearing bones should not be given to dogs (including knuckle bones) as they are too hard for their teeth?

There's always contradictory information out there and if you listened to it all you'd be frightened to feed anything but it sort of makes sense?
