Cold August

Recommended Posts

This has to be the coldest August I can remember. We've had the heating on twice so far this month. Forecasters would have you believe this is normal and we are imagining it when we say August used to be warmer "back in the day."

I just googled "Coldest August on record UK" and although there's nothing much about this year so far, apparently it was the coldest on record in 2015. They said the same in 2014, 2012 and 2010. Bit of a trend going on there.

WTF has happened to global warming?

WTF has happened to global warming?

It changed from "global warming" to "climate change" so they can still tax the bollox out of us

It's "global warming" for most of the year, but that doesn't explain why winter is still cold, so then it becomes "climate change" !

Latest research says the effects of global warming will be worse than predicted - which must be bad, when they predicted that we're all going to die !

We were told a few years ago that the poles would melt due to the increase in global temperature and we would all drown etc. etc. Since then the world has been cutting it's carbon emissions to stop that and the weather has just got colder and rainer. As a layman, the logical thing to do would be to increase carbon emissions so we could have summers again.
