Foxpack 2 7,849
I think a good book like the terrier yearbook but about bushing dogs. A few story's of lads outing. Quarry type. Land and there dogs. Be a good read that. 3 Quote Link to post
darbo 4,774
Not a specific book on bushing but maybe the closest to it i have read. There is much better reading on here about lads days out bushing than in the book in my opinion. tatsblisters 9,466
Jack Ivestor Loyd I think his name was used to write good yarns back in the day about his bobbery pack don't know if he ever wrote a book or not. 1 Quote Link to post

csd_88 138
It would be a good idea if you wanted the attention but most folks like to keep themselves to themselves this day and age Quote Link to post
Phil Lloyd 10,738
Love bushing/raking about, mouching around etc... Hedgerow dawgs and whippets, go together like apple pie and cream,... Easy to write about, the endless days spent hunting rabbits, deer, and foxes out of the rough bankings and deep ditches,..the problem has always been, obtaining decent action shots. Most of the real work, the initial hunt, and the exciting, first contact is nearly always hidden away from the camera lens,... I've tried it and failed abysmally,..but if someone could capture the sheer thrill and fast pace of this most enthralling pursuit,..it would be great. 7 Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
Skycats books are good, she writes well so you feel like you are there. Tales of the field I think is the name. 3 Quote Link to post
