Decorators

Recommended Posts

Alright lad any decorators on here, working away and iv got a guy coming to give the wife a price for papering our living room, 3 walls just plain coloured paper and main wall print, ain't a massive room and about 10 rolls of paper all in, been stripped and will be sanded down before work starts, no painting involved, anyone a idea of a rough price so I can let her know roughly coz she hasn't a clue n don't want her being ripped of. Cheers

If it's just slinging with no prep at all and no painting then then I usually price on 8 rolls per day although I can do more depending on drops and cuts.

You're looking at around £20//25 a roll to hang.

But remember that you're idea of stripping and sanding may not be his idea. Plus I'd probably imagine the walls will need lining to gaurantee the edges don't lift and to huge a more consistent finish.

£350/400 withot actually seeing the job!
