ATB How many generations is he? thats what i was thinking , if he not a 1x, is he a 1x 2nd gen = 1x to 1x .! or 3rd etc hes half x to half x for 7 generations and that sounds bang on, for speed plenty of pace in there and guts deff, best way to go lurcher x lurcher , my next dog will be lurcher x lurcher somthing with good drop pit in there maybe bit of collie, just worker to worker . i like wheaten xs they very good dogs, but can bit fiery with other dogs, but suppose if you keep on to of them , they be ok . 1 Quote Link to post

MickC 1,825
That is a nice dog Spanielsandhawks and a straight cross.Normally you come on the Wheaten/Greyhound threads on here and they usually have other dogs in the mix.Only a few members on here seem to keep the genuine Wheaten/Greyhounds. Mixedgrill 704
Chief - what lines of wheatens have you owned or own? PM if you prefer What line of wheatens do you keep or have kept? Who knows Stop End when he answers your question his Wheatens might be related to yours ?Do you have Wheatens ? Also there seems to be a few lads on here who seem very enthusiastic to learn about the true Wheaten terriers, so Stop End why don't you educate us all about the true Wheaten terrier and all you know about it ? Also, IF a wheaten has a touch of other strong dog in it's ancestory could you inform us as to what you think would be the purest lines of Wheaten around today and should we rubbish those Wheatens who might or do have bull blood back in their pedigrees ? Thanks in advance of your educational answer. I wouldnt tell you the time. And if you did I'd still look at a clock because I know you'd be lying. But I wasn't asking you those questions for my benefit , I was asking it for those fanciers who'd like to know more about that great game breed, the Wheaten terrier. So go on Stop End, tell all the good folk on here what you know about the Wheaten ? Your post might be a contender for the Guinness Book of Records, as the shortest post ever. your a first class wanker Cooney Quote Link to post

Like comparing a pitbull and an English bull.I've seen 2 non working Irish an they seem feisty, reminded of a schnauzer to be honest gassy round other dogs when on leads probably make good watch dogs for a home maybe kill small vermin? 1 Quote Link to post

Daniel cain 45,154
Is there much difference between the Wheaten, and the Irish terriertotally different shapes in head/body wise and temperments-folks bang on about wheatens being dog aggressive... Everyone I've been around has been good as gold, only interested in the job at hand. If a dogs nasty with others then that's down to a bad owner imo. Atb dc 1 Quote Link to post
