dogmandont 9,846
Neil if you think I was rubbishing wheatens with bull blood when I asked why pit blood was added I wasn't , just wanted to know if chief knew why it was added and what his dogs were lacking that they needed it. Maybe there bushing and retrieving ability was slipping. Quote Link to post
Lusitano 294
I have a young wheaten bitch pup here at the moment... But my questions to chief were what wheatens does he keep and has kept? Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Chief - what lines of wheatens have you owned or own? PM if you preferWhat line of wheatens do you keep or have kept? Who knows Stop End when he answers your question his Wheatens might be related to yours ?Do you have Wheatens ? Also there seems to be a few lads on here who seem very enthusiastic to learn about the true Wheaten terriers, so Stop End why don't you educate us all about the true Wheaten terrier and all you know about it ? Also, IF a wheaten has a touch of other strong dog in it's ancestory could you inform us as to what you think would be the purest lines of Wheaten around today and should we rubbish those Wheatens who might or do have bull blood back in their pedigrees ? Thanks in advance of your educational answer. I wouldnt tell you the time. And if you did I'd still look at a clock because I know you'd be lying. But I wasn't asking you those questions for my benefit , I was asking it for those fanciers who'd like to know more about that great game breed, the Wheaten terrier. So go on Stop End, tell all the good folk on here what you know about the Wheaten ? Your post might be a contender for the Guinness Book of Records, as the shortest post ever. 1 Quote Link to post

I have a funny feeling he wouldn't know a Wheaten (or as he says ,Wheaton) terrier from a Wheaten loaf of .bread. He's telling lads on here what they have in their yards and he's over on the terrier board telling lads what's the best quad. He doesn't even mention a quad but an ATV and can't even drive a van down a lane so would have no hope cross country on a quad. I hate bullshitters. 1 Quote Link to post

Wild-Bill 500
Think it's 7 'moths old, it was £450 but now it's £300 Quote Link to post
mushroom 13,174
300 is not bad for a decent bred dog imo. 1 Quote Link to post

spanielsandhawks 466
Good and bad just as any breed, you do hear a lot of Lurchers with wheaten and a lot of various other breeds mixed in, I don't see them as wheatenx'es,.if you have one that is bread right and not bread by any old wheaten just because it's a wheaten. They are as good as any other, can be sticky with strange people and other dogs, Wouldn't be a wheatenx if they weren't lol. ATB. 1 Quote Link to post
