No field craft required at all Jimmy,( just pulling a leg earlier), the concealment was easily good enough but the pattern I use is the killer.

 

I`m surprised no one has picked up on this ?

I did look at the pattern Mark and although I can't see too much of it, I am assuming you are keeping a nice hole in the middle directly in front of you. I am always interested in successful decoy patterns for shotgun or rifle as we never stop learning.

 

I do tend to use either a horse shoe pattern or a steady curve to the left of right depending on wind direction which to be honest I have found works quite well so the birds always drop in against wind in front of me.

 

If that is not how you are doing the pattern Mark, please do tell.
