mushroom 13,392
Once caught a huge f***ing lizard here in BCN, it was in my exes house. Stalked it with one of those large plastic tubs you put shoes in, plonked it on top thinking "got the fuucker" put a large piece of card underneath and flipped it over. Removed the cardboard and the fuucking huge lizard turned out to be a plastic fuucking toy dinosaur Edited August 8, 2017 by mushroom

Been around since the 80s when loads of kids got pet terrapins with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles craze then dumped them when they got too big, it's not supposed to be warm enough for them to successfully reproduce but there's been a few in a pond in the park near my sister for at least 15 years and last year young were spotted for the first time.

Caught one unintentionaly, fishing for salmon! I used to fish for them intentionally in Hong Kong, caught dozens in Kowloon park with a bit of meat and some fishing line, used to get some odd looks, caught quite a few in different ponds in the new territories also.Loads of reptiles local,i always find numbered tin sheets for reptile surveys on waste ground.

It was like reeling in a big soup plate. It must have reached maximum size. Bad news that they are breeding. The conventional wisdom was that it was too cold in blighty, but nature has a way of upsetting theories.
