ferrets

Recommended Posts

I think its a personal choice really, i prefer hobs personally, i like there laid back nature, just a few things to bare in mind really, if you get jills you have to be mindfull when they come into season & they need bringing out of season using one of a few methods

allowing them to have a litter

run them with a vasectomised hob

getting them a hormone injection at the vets

or speying this is the only sensible option if you never intend breeding the ferrets

Hobs will live happily together all season if your lucky, i left my pair together this year with no problems . but some people have had to seperate there hobs due to fights & to prevent any injury to each other,

Good luck :D
