Aww thank you Jamie it was a lovely surprise to meet you and your beautiful lady in the hangar at East Kirkby yesterday. You both have to come over to our home and have a shooting day with me soon. And Helen's cooking..- we won't send you home hungry. ;) Helen pulls pints at The Blue Bell and is my local pub. The food is bloody marvellous and the beer is superb.

Jimmy's a lovely guy too. Thanks for those kind words mate. We are both keeping you in our thoughts for Nicola's continued good health and recovery from a really bad fall she had a while back. Ethan is a fine, lovely lad. We think the world of him and he's a credit to his family. He must be sprouting up into a bigger hunter now... :icon_eek: You must come down soon too mate.

By the way, my MP40 Schmeisser-Erma is not a copy or a film prop, but an original German second world war weapon, Waffen stamped with Eagle proof marks and stamped-dated 1942. Deactivated of course.

See you lads soon I hope.

Love.

Simon and Helen XX

Dear Rabid...Alas.....

I just couldn't bear to part with my MP40. Apart from the fact that they are getting scarce+expensive on the deactivated markets for originals now, I've wanted one of these since I was in short pants, watching "Garrison's Guerillas" on TV and I made one out of scrap wood so I could play 'war' with my mates....I'd really regret parting with it, I know.

Sorry buddy

Don't be sorry, I don't blame you, I wouldn't part with it either, but if you change your mind for whatever reason, let me know, I will keep looking for one in the meantime.
