Rez 4,961
Today, me old man came up, dont see him often enough, so we went over to the Aviation Centre in East Kirby where there was a Air show on. Only word really... outstanding. Real good day out with me dad and other half. Cant be a bit of British. Cant beat a proper Lancaster. PLus plenty of other bits and bobs to see. Another highlight of the day is that I bumped into the man. Simon W. Atack. The Pianoman. What a diamond. I so wish Id of had a picture with you Simon. Next time mate He had a stall there, selling his artworks... I saw the 'Before we go' artwork, and thought I know that damn piece... looked up and he was there. Quick kiss and a cuddle and I left. Hopefully see you again mate. Some images. I know its not all airguns, but there is some guns involved. And Jess gettin sweet talked... By proper men. I did try to tea leaf a cheese sarneh... but they're still very sharp. Then at the Blue Bell. A watering house with some heritage. To say the least. 6 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Aww thank you Jamie it was a lovely surprise to meet you and your beautiful lady in the hangar at East Kirkby yesterday. You both have to come over to our home and have a shooting day with me soon. And Helen's cooking..- we won't send you home hungry. Helen pulls pints at The Blue Bell and is my local pub. The food is bloody marvellous and the beer is superb. Jimmy's a lovely guy too. Thanks for those kind words mate. We are both keeping you in our thoughts for Nicola's continued good health and recovery from a really bad fall she had a while back. Ethan is a fine, lovely lad. We think the world of him and he's a credit to his family. He must be sprouting up into a bigger hunter now... You must come down soon too mate. By the way, my MP40 Schmeisser-Erma is not a copy or a film prop, but an original German second world war weapon, Waffen stamped with Eagle proof marks and stamped-dated 1942. Deactivated of course. See you lads soon I hope. Love. Simon and Helen XXX 3 Quote Link to post
