Hi Mitch, Phil,

I don't mean to sound like " I have a thing" about fac air :icon_redface: .

I`m trying to learn, read, and ask about them as I`m interested by the thoughts of it all, as are others

Lads are giving opinions with regards to powder burn rifles.

Lads are giving opinions with regards to fac air.

Lads giving opinions about sub 12

Just asking and comparing opinions mate, that`s what the old forums are all about aren`t they ?

A fire arms air rifle can be a handy tool you can use it where you cant use a rimmy as walshie states , but i dont tend to try to stretch the range of my 12lb air guns im happy if they kill stuff up to 35 yards for longer ranges thats whats the firearms air guns for making sure of a clean kill at a bit longer range

If you really wanted to learn about FAC air Mark, you just ask if it is possible to come and try one out. So far you have not done that, instead quoting stuff you have read or heard or seen on the bog paper or just your logic that it is an excuse for no field craft.

I do believe you are fundamentally opposed to FAC air with some weird notion that you are the only guy on here using field craft. If you are happy in your misapprehension then fine I guess but if you really want to learn, then come over and I will take you out so you can find out for yourself what FAC air is all about and whether the guns in question are just a load of crap for those who do not practice 'field craft'.

You, like me, own shotguns as well and some people are under the impression that they will spray lead so wide that you just cannot miss anything and I dare say you have at some stage tried to explain to the guy who knows nothing about the subject that his idea is not what really happens....................................sound familiar Mark.

From what I have seen in your past write ups on natural hides etc, you are a man who both loves and works at his field craft which is great but DO NOT just cast aspersions that others don't so therefore only use FAC because they have to which I find insulting to say the least.
