sowhat 1,572
Excuse my ignorance but what's the difference in a ped and non ped. Quote Link to post
sowhat 1,572
A non ped as greyhound in its breeding, a pedigree whippet does not, hope that helps Quote Link to post

MR RABBIT 715
I think if rough coat lurcher and doing mid to late 8 seconds for 150yards it'll do ok at the racing smooth coats on a whole tend to be faster at track but not always you'll get odd rough coat that holds there own,,,most lurchers will be lucky to break 9 sec barrier unless theve got abit o height The fastest lurchers can give a average non Ped a race for there money,a KC whippet will not they need a head start from a very quick lurcher racer Edited August 4, 2017 by MR RABBIT 2 Quote Link to post
billhardy 2,343
i learned from a small age speed ain't the be all and so on,nobody more than myself admires a fast type animal ,but that animal need to have the running brain to know when to apply that speed mostly these track type and game fair runners don't and the majority would Neva learn how to either ,but has for studs in the mix of a Lurcher they can be very good option than a greyhound.
