jhiggins 48
I use Dr Johns Gold for all my gun dogs, lurchers etc as part of a part raw part biscuit diet. Its good food at a reasonable price. 1 Quote Link to post
dogmad riley 1,339
Dr John titanium is alot better, the gold is shite. I use it as a mixer along with raw etc. Dogs seem fine on it, any other Dr John they shite for england Quote Link to post
Lamper121 239
I was feeding mine on Dr Johns Titanium as mixer a while back but he had all sorts of skin issues (not saying it was down to the food) so I moved him on to 100% raw mince chicken and salmon oil diet ...that did the trick. Like people say, those dry foods just make them sh*t about 10 times more. I remember it being good value though. Edited August 2, 2017 by Lamper121 Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Can't beat raw. I keep a bag of the Dr Johns Gold handy in case I forget to defrost the mince. But like has been said they just seem to shit it straight out and take no goodness from it. Can anyone recommend a decent dry food that is better but isn't extortionately priced? Quote Link to post
Chaff 3,567
Shepherd's choice 8 quid a 15kg bag shit is quite sold dog troths the lot. Seems quite happy on it. He still has raw 3 times a week even if I have to buy it. Quote Link to post
The one 8,456
Its better than Doctor Johns Silver but thats all i can say about it Quote Link to post
Boristheblade 1,367
Akela £36 10kg Dogs hardly shit at all on it. You gota think if your gettin 15kgs for £8 what can possibly in it, 1 Quote Link to post
Rabbit Hunter 6,613
Not being funny but why pay so much for dry food? I could fill my freezer with raw for that and it would feed the dogs for an awful lot longer. Quote Link to post
