Manufacturing Fault On The Walther Master Pro,- Part 2.

Recommended Posts

By dinner time at work today I had made my mind up to return to Warrington Guns with my Walther.

I also took my Primos sticks that have a leg that slips once in a while, - two birds one stone.

On the Walther I stated that the cut in question looks like a slipped router cut and looked dreadful and also said that both clubs I shoot for - the members all said that they could not live with it. ( A gun shop always listens when they know a lot of other people are interested in their reaction) :whistling:

Anyways lads, long story cut short, The LGU stock is completely different to the LGV.

The century ( right name ?) has the SAME PROBLEM - the ugly cut.

ALL Walther Master Pro rifles have this ugly cut.

I told him I couldn`t live with it.

After a while he caved in to my demands and fully refunded me.

He also refunded me for the faulty Primos.

Always keep your receipts in you gun cabinets lads, :rtfm:

They have to honour them.

We all work for our pennies and want things right, that cut was deemed ugly by a lot of people but let me say this, that Walther is a hell of a rifle and I might get another in the future when the shock of that ugly cut has faded. We`ll see ?

Meantime I will use the FWB Sport and bring her away from just classic hunting along with the 127 Sport and work them with the T Rex.

It`s a fault to many, including myself.

I am not aware of any other guns with a router cut on show but again - why is that horrible router cut there anyway ?

What`s it`s function ?

Not for me but the rifle without the router cut is.

Thanks again for the kind offer Jimmy, much appreciated :good: .

No one should have to do that with a new rifle though.

Whether I could see it or not, it is there, if you get my drift ? :sorry:

p.s. - didn`t know you had sold the Merlyn ? She looked a lovely rifle too.

Anyways, atb Mark

The post you put up where it was putting pellet on pellet sold it to me but i do nearly all lamping with my airguns and it wouldn't be so noticeable in the dark

Would not have bother,d me ,,one ,,but then again im not a perfectionist

i can just see it now ,,,sleepless nights ,,,the shakes,,,hot and cold sweats,,,,O THE WORRY THAT SOME ONE MAY NOTICE IT LOL

feck the fact it was spot on and the fact that he got two kills with it with the first two shots ;)

Bringing this to the fore front as it has proven to me she deserves a full time place on my options and not just classical hunting.

The legendary FWB Sport 124,
