Deker 3,478
As pretty much everyone here has said, its all about what works best in your gun and is most effective on your quarry. My various .22LR over the years have found Eley Subs to be overrated, they have been no more accurate than my normal brands and have shown less knockdown. I rated Magtech subs for years, they were very accurate and had a huge HP, offering great expansion and knockdown, but prices have gone through the roof and availability diminished, not bought any for 2-3 years at least. The Winchester 40g HP offered similar, although slightly worse performance for me and I've not actually tried the 42 yet. RWS seem an all round higher quality, give good accuracy but less expansion. In simple terms we go back to the start....... ..............its all about what works best in your gun and is most effective on your quarry. Quote Link to post
foxtrotoscar 35
My CZ 452 prefers Winchesters as I do for knock down performance on rabbits, but TBH all brands I've tried work fine, providing I do my bit also. Quote Link to post
