Is This A Manufacturing Fault On The Master Pro Stock ?

Recommended Posts

Oh, oh, this is not a good sign for such a well-loved and much-vaunted air rifle :hmm: . It's definitely a fault in stock manufacture. Such a thing has no visibly useful function as far as I can see in the pic.

You have to ask..."What else have they missed on the other rifles? Is this an isolated case of absent minded neglect on the part of the quality check? Or was it "Ahh let it through, it's a one off fault and nobody will notice.....!"

Yeah, like sure they won't!

Pretty sure you'll get a more satisfactory replacement Mark. It's a superb Marque of air rifle this in all other respects.

Best wishes.

I`m going to make those words " Haunt you Mac" with this Walther. Cheap you say.

I had two shots last night, - the rabbit was free standing,37 yds, the pigeon was off the primos at 41 yds.

Maybe they just use the same jig for a couple of different stocks Mark.

There's a couple of lads at the club that have Walthers - they seem to be decent kit

If the stock is made to fit difarent actions then that makes good business sense

plus it saves money

I know you're having a laugh lol, but I wouldn't call walther rifles cheap. Just not as expensive as weirhauchs, which in my opinion have stayed a bit too expensive for what they are, due to the continued popularity of them. I know that sounds a bit conradictory, as in if people are still buying them they must be good, and of course they are, but look at the amount of people on plenty of sites, including this one, that complain of poorly finished and/or broken parts on their weirhauchs.

And I've just gone and bought a brand new 97kt! Lol I love em lol
