Do Walther have a website with a customer feedback section? If they do, I can't find it. From what i was told Chris` Walther sell the Master Pro rifle with the option of with open sights or without open sights. They don`t, or did not, when i bought one, sell the stocks without the cut so basically if you opt for without open sights on your rifle you`ll see the router cut anyway ( cheap that Walther ) 26 minutes ago, philpot said: I picked one up in the RFD a few weeks ago as you and Tim had said how good they were but the weight is way to much for an old tart like me. I would think in a static situation the weight may work in your favour. Phil Yes Phil, i agree, the weight issue attracted me more so as most of my sub 12 hunting is static as you know. atb Mark. 1 Quote Link to post

I will cross check the site addresses later and post them on here. As for the weight of the LGV...……...scoped up and fitted with a small lamp mine weighed in at 11.5 lbs on the wife's bathroom scales; far too heavy for me to tote around the fields all day but will be ideal for bunny ambush situations; or for target shooting prone, or off a bench. Chris Free targets think I need them Quote Link to post

philpot 5,007
Thank you, I normally just put an 8mm black spot on A4 paper as I hate cluttered targets mainly due to knackered eyes but that one is good. Phil 1 Quote Link to post

Christoph1945 9
If you want something nice to carry your pellets in, whilst out hunting, try old glue sticks. Just remove the defunct sticky stick by winding it out, remove the drive plate and turn it over before returning it into the tube. Put the cap back on and ream out a hole directly through both cap and tube. Hey-presto a nice handy pellet container for your pocket. As you use up your pellets you just turn up the base winder that will push all the pellets up the tube and stop them rattling around. Edited February 7, 2019 by Christoph1945 1 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,007
I think a tin works well with an Air Arms neoprene wrapper to be very honest. Phil Quote Link to post
Christoph1945 9
The beauty of the glue sticks is that you don't have to open them, just twist the cap to align the holes and give it a tap to persuade a pellet or two to drop out. Drop it and the pellets don't spill out all over the place. And as you use up more and more pellets they are kept snug by winding up the drive plate and they don't rattle around inside the tube.
