mark williams 7,551
The first impressions lads is I cannot get over how smooth, so, so, silky smooth. Recoil - virtually nil, tiniest nudge I`ll give a report on her tomorrow lads after some serious range work but my first impressions are that this rifle is " something else", the shot cycle is exquisite - out of the box ! atb Mark. 8 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,551
Well lads, I`ve decided to shoot my classic FWB`s completely classic and mount them both with the two classic scopes I have, - the Tasco 4x40 w/a and the Bushmaster 4x38 w/a so very kindly given to me by Tom ( burras) The T Rex stays the same. The HW 100`s stay the same. The Walther will be joined with the Mamba Lite 4-16 x 44 scb reticule. The instant I got the Walther out of the box, I cocked her, placed a JSB Exact Express on top of her flat breech and squeezed off the trigger - that pellet moved maybe 1 mm and that`s with the Walther lay on the open palm of my hand, - I was made up with that virtually negative recoil. atb Mark Quote Link to post
philpot 4,985
It sounds impressive Mark. Similar in weight to the TX ? Phil Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,551
Yes it is Phil. I`m banking that it`s weight combined with very low recoil, .177 and over Primos is going to give some serious accuracy through that Walther barrel. atb Mark Quote Link to post
