Walther Lgv Comp` Ultra And The Latest Walther Range.

Superb rifle mate, absolutely simple to strip, all they need is a de grease, a polish of the spring ends, and the end of the piston rod, a re lube with a light smear of moly paste, red rubber grease, or similar on the spring, a squirt of dri slide on the piston bearings, and a light smear of silicon oil round the piston seal edges, the power will creep up as it beds in, they usually start about 10.8 ftlbs and after a 1000 pellets or so sit at around 11.6ftlbs, when I stripped mine I added a power washer, which took the power to 11.5 ish but after it bedded in I removed it as it was getting a little hot, dont expect a Wiehrauch trigger, they are ok but not as good, however Rowan engineering do a kit which transforms them, inside they are engineered superbly, get one you wont be disappointed, but in .177 of course.

I stand corrected it's a rowen kit

So the difference between the pro and standard master is a better stock and the pro comes without irons. Is that right??

I want one of these so badly at the minute.

cheap ere.....

Spot on mate. The Pro has better wood. The master comes with iron sights and a less curvy stock.

Seriously though, cant stress this enough, the shape of the stock on the LGU [same as Master Pro] is f'kin mint. It is like resting your face on some Scandinavian furniture.

And I have 370 quid in cash burning a hole in my pocket from a 'out of hours' job.

Hmmm.

I can think better place to put my face on a scandinavian and it's definitely not on furniture :thumbs:

Just pulling your leg mate

I`m in the same boat as Rez, a few quid spare from a job and I`ve long since fancied the very low recoil and accuracy this rifle offers.

atb Mark.

Rez yes its a complete replacement, with proper adjusters, have a look on their site, shows it, the cheaper alternative is to get the match trigger from Sportwaffen in the fatherland, but it wont be as good, comparing an out of the box 97 to an lgv is like comparing a fiesta to an Audi r8, one twangs and bounces about, the other is smooth planted and much quicker, (as in lock time) which is phenomenal.
