archiekale 427
21/7/17 Out with Ian today and we went looking for pigeons.Had a ride around and eventually saw a few and we decided to set up on cut rape. After about an hour we decided to move as the birds were not decoying very well.We only moved 100 yards but it made a difference and we set up under an old oak tree in the middle of the field. We had to put the brollys up as it was windy and they gave us a bit of shelter.Moving did the trick and we did start to get a few.The pigeons came in steady and we had a good days shooting but around 1700 it went quiet and so we packed in.We did manage to get 87 wood pigeon and 22 feral and had a good laugh doing it. 3 Quote Link to post
