Arry 21,861
September for me as well, open ground burrows and in the woods first and let the hedges die back ( seem to take ages last year ). Every year waiting for the new season I seem to be like a kid waiting for Christmas. Cheers Arry 1 Quote Link to post
neil b 2,298
I like to get on any shared permission first the as the season goes on just onto the land were only I go best of both worlds then Quote Link to post
Chaff 3,621
Will try late September provided its cold enough and I don't get younguns running through my nets,as that normally means a lot of lay ups digging the dogs tend to eat the young they catch so end up with worms. Also lot of the places I go you need a few hard frost to kill off the greenery so you can get to the holes Atb Quote Link to post
Lamper121 239
October for me. Might go and start clearing some vegetation on some of the bigger warrens in September Quote Link to post

Lee farrington 211
This is a question I was going to ask as this is my first full season and wasn't to sure when to start. I was told when there is a R in the month. Quote Link to post
