Miss Lynn 160
Till we have walked in another's shoes, till we have thought with another's mind, till we have felt with another's heart, we can not judge what is right or wrong for them or their lives.
Neobliviscaris1776 1,998
Too many blokes refuse to seek help because "it's not what blokes do". I myself am one...i won't go to a doctor unless i really have to and even then it's cos the missus is giving me ball ache and won't drop the subject. Knowing blokes can be like that it doesn't surprise me that suicide is a big problem among men...as i said tb25, fair play for trying to sort your problems mate they have labeled me with about 7 things lol.. There is a stigma about men and them not going to the doctors as if by not going your not interested in your health. Doctors as very rarely interested finding the causes of things their more interested in giving you drugs, that's just the reality of it. However there seems to be no stigma attached for those who go to the doctors for every little thing that they happen to have or little niggle. Personally I feel if you can avoid going to the doctors, and you show an interest in your own health and well being, you live a far longer and healthier life if you do. That's my personal experience. scothunter 12,609
Im probaly hooked on co codemol. Been to the Drs loads of times about a bad knee injury i had. Gives me jip.all they say is "yea its to be expected as you get older" keep taking the tablets! 100 every fortnight! They even had the cheek to say you don't need to keep coming in just fill out the repeat prescription slip! Before the co codemol i was prescribed DFs and tramadol and some other ones that knocked me stupid. When i complained was told well just suffer it if you not prepared to take them! i opted for co codemol as being the least harmfull.
Neobliviscaris1776 1,998
That's my experience to. Wanting to prescribe drugs which from hearing others experiences close to me, felt this is definitely not what I want to start. Respect everyone's choice to decide for themselves. Good food, outdoors, nutrition and research will do more than any doctor can.

Anything with codeine in it makes me so constipated I'm worried of having a busted rectum to go with my bad knee and back.
