Orchard Wall

Recommended Posts

The estate manager asked me to thin out some rabbits that have made there warren to close to a 17th century stone wall on the manor estate... that I'm told loudly "it'd cost to f'kin much to repair if they keep f'kin digging under it!" It's a new warren this summer, so I hit the orchard at 9.15 and stayed til 10.30.

All around 36 yards. Bit windy. So I'll be back when it's a tad calmer. Perhaps heavy numbers on a better night. Perfect air gun job. Quiet. No damage to the wall. Job done. Took the HM. Happy manager.

The bigger one I thought I'd missed... looked like it dropped its head to take a bit of some grass. But then didn't move. Sound gave it away.

On another note. Little 2-7x32 worked a damn treat in low light. Almost Simmons like. Wish it had IR though.
