Did you give the paint enough time to cure right monkey? Also a good sealer down first and make sure it's completely dust free before you start, it's like painting anything else get the prep done right and use a good product and it should last.

ya some water proofer in the concrete no need to paint it at all just a good bitta jeyes fluid keep it right.

Like pva/unibond but much stronger better stuff for tiling and flooring.

If concrete is knocked up correctly and layed and trowelled properly it won't soak up piss and stink if it is washed down daily.Never had a problem with any of my kennels or yards stinking.
