mark williams 7,557
Put some more work into the zeroing and handling of the old FWB Sports 124 and the 127 this week ready for the pigeons Feeling extremely confident with the classics lads. Here`s a reminder of the 124, (.177) in action, earlier this last month. The 127, (.22) atb Mark. 4 Quote Link to post
Jonjon79 13,358
They'll all do it for you mate But, the grouping in the first picture with the 124 is shit hot ....... I'd be well happy with that. I reckon Kaiser will be as well 2 Quote Link to post
Durham John 693
Some nice grain showing in the 124 Mark. What sort of speed/lbs you getting with the express, It must be giving you a nice smooth flight path DJ Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,557
Hi John, The Express, I was put onto by Mitch, ( Villa Man) for the 100`s.( still not tried them through my 100`s yet )- still using up the AA Fields 4.52, 8.4 g,- a blisteringly accurate/ hard hitting pellet with the 100`s ( I may just stay as I am on the 100`s, - we`ll see.) I have, however, started using them,( JSB Express) exclusively, in my T Rex HC mk 3 and my FWB Sport 124, to great effect. The lads at my range were all over the FWB`s when I first had the tuning done. They have both settled right down to two very consistent springers and "on my day" I can scrape pcp groups with them. FWB 124, JSB Exact Express, 4.52 , 7.87 g. 804 ft/sec to 812 ft/sec variation of just 8ft/sec over 10 shots. 11.3 - 11.52 ft/lbs. As the photos show John - extremely accurate pellets with the FWB Sport 124. atb Mark Quote Link to post

Durham John 693
Used to run the fap in.22 through my s410 to very good results Don't know why but the .177 don't run as well through my raider The group's are good in both your guns mate, was that off the primus? DJ Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,557
Most of my shooting is off the Primos John, ( static). I get better results watching the wildlife, learning that particular vermin`s habits and time, then set a hide in readiness, - usually a natural hide. ( far better). The fields are being cut, as we write, so I`m out with Kaiser and " no gun" very shortly, to check on the very wily Wood Pigeons preferences. Way, way to windy today for the air rifle decoying,- the trees are bobbing up/down all over the place but the pigeons watched from a far, will tell me all I need to know. Just hope they are hitting my permissions ? atb Mark. Quote Link to post
