I think the Internet has opened up running dogs to a wider audience. People can watch clips on YouTube and see stuff on Facebook and think "I'll have a go at that" . Before that it wasn't as open for everyone to see and try .

 

That's my thinking , but in no expert in dogs or the plight you lot face these days

Their is a flip side to the internet coin. I never thought of ferrets for hunting before . Never knew anybody that did it or had done it. Been on this site for few years reading loads and I really liked the ferret section. I now have 3 ferrets, 1 vas hob and 2 Jill kits and I can't wait for autumn to take them out . The internet attracts some dross but it can also bring keen decent people into the fieldsport world and with the way the world is moving now in terms of people's leisure time and theirs so much choice , adding more people to fieldsport can be a good thing sometimes

Like what has been said it has been going on for years from both sides.

 

I know people who have had a good hiding from keepers and farmers just think the internet etc brings it to light more.

 

I myself have had the end of a shotgun whacked in my face by a unhappy keeper.

 

It is shite that land owners are getting attack by these types. And coursing hares this time of year isn't good.
