Blackbriar 8,569
If I can sent a text message, and speak to someone who isn't in the same room, it's all I need.......! For too many people "the latest phone" is just an expensive fashion accessory, I reckon...... Several hundred pounds for a phone ? More money than sense, in most cases !
stumfelter 3,034
Nokia dumb-phone,got it from Tesco 3 years ago for a tenner and a zanco fly (worlds smallest phone). The blurb for the fly says the big selling point is the voice changing facility, in reality we all know the biggest selling point is the ease of fitting up your clacker while in clink.....

My wife lost her phone 2 months ago & hasn't renewed it yet, she's enjoying not having one too much!
mackem 28,306
I was given an I-phone 7 in January, took it out the box,had a look at the camera, gave it to my son he was stuck on it constant while on holiday,FFS he even looked at it on a hot-air balloon ride todays tech-savvy kids are all well and good but but who needs social media 24/7 I said before on here if the government proposed implanting a chip in your kid,so they could be tracked from cradle to grave, their hobbies, spending, interests and all personal data stored on a governmental data-collection system then people would kick off,yet your smart phone tracks where you have been, what you were doing, your interests, spending etc and your happy as larry to pay to carry one
