There is no doubt that I am not very good with a springer and that is part of the fun as I learn to get better and I do enjoy shooting it. My garden range is not in use at present for various reasons so it has to be the range for now. The airsporter was THE rifle to have in my area and now I have one thanks to you mate. It gives me pleasure just owning the gun never mind shooting it. Phil Nice to see her being used Phil it would only be put to work hear once a year on the crows out of likes lads so a will have to do for now . atvbjimmy  Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
You know what I feel about the HW80 and HW77 stock refurbs you've done for me Jimmy. Just bloody beautiful. I'm not making jokes or any banter about this. Your work is too much appreciated and cherished by me here mate. My HW80 .22 FAC is shooting as well as ever. One raggy-hole 10 shot group at 35 metres is all the accuracy this powerhouse needs. Fur or feather, shell flatten the lot! I've fitted the HW77 stock to my HW97 and it has made this little rifle into an incredible well-handling and super-accurate target rifle and hunter. Absolutely transformed it from a superb rifle to an incredible little shooting engine! It's going to stay there. It makes it all look like a hark back to the days when the HW77K was king of the HFT circuit. In fact, the 97K is a direct result of the custom-modified 77s that were winning everything back in the 1990s. My Pro Sport is what it is thanks to the help and advices you gave on that project to convert her to left hand friendliness.. One of the most beautiful and precision accurate rifles I've ever owned. I've got some fabulous guns thanks to you Jimmy dear pal. 1 Quote Link to post
