Stopper Pad

Recommended Posts

4 months ago one of my bitches injured her stopper pad it was half on half off. Vet stitched it back on with dissolving stitches shes been on lead walks only until this weekend when i let her have a few short runs on what i thiught was safe ground ie grass fields that have had a bit of rain on them She seemed fine then i noticed stopper knackered again!! Has anyone had a stopper pad removed? & if so how long did it take to heal etc. Atb

My old bitch used to have the same problem ... I took her to rough old field she half ripped it off so I cut it clean off with a scalpel ... two weeks of salt water bathing and it's never happened again ......
