Just got out of Bristol and bought a cottage with a few acres, and looking forward to taking my lurcher out of the city and letting her do what she does best. Can't wait to re-learn a few skills my Grandfather taught me, we pegged a few runs back in the day, and took Stacey the ferret out to help us catch a few for the pot. He used to catch them as a kid, as his uncle supplemented his income through hare coursing, and Uncle George was the last guy in Bristol to drive a pony and trap around the streets! Looking forward to teaching the little ones where food comes from. Anyhow, hope to read and contribute/whinge/beg for advice etc. over the next few years. Andy Quote Link to post Share on other sites
