keepdiggin 9,561
When a bitch has a litter and the runt dies does anyone feed them to ferrets? Strange question I know but talking to old terrier man earlier and he said he did Quote Link to post
TAXI DRIVER 549
I remember an old man doing that years ago.The ferrets devoured the pup and then had a taste for dogs. They would actively hunt dogs and would devour them.In the end he had to rehome the ferrets as they began to eat humans. So my advice would be don`t do it as it`s not worth the potential risks. 12 Quote Link to post

Aussie Whip 4,145
I wouldn't feed ferrets anything born dead as could be rotten.Unlike dogs, ferrets guts can't handle rotten food as far as I know. 1 Quote Link to post
poxon 5,768
Only on the hunting life surely you can't be that skint that you'd need to feed any still born pups to your ferrets put saying that it speaks volumes for the pups you've just had if a corner can be cut to save £££ your take it Quote Link to post
