Rez 4,961
Love it Mac. Reading the title I assumed a new set up... Great surprise. Be great to see how you get on with her retrieving... being a terrier... it may not be in her instinct like Marks pointer. Tried to get Stan, me dachshund to retrieve, but absolutely no hope. More likely to get v'man to shout allah then get a hound to retrieve. My hound anyway. Great post mate. She looks a gem. 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,558
Patterdale/ Lakeland cross Mac ? You kept this quiet from us all. I absolutely love this type of " no nonsense " breed, so, so meant to be under the gun A roofer I know has one and woe betide anyone opening that van door of his. Just let her have her full puppyhood mate, let the bonding begin and lots of ball games, bringing the ball back to praises and treats. ALL FUN Mac. Get plenty of shit bags and a 2/12 whistle meantime What are you calling her Jimmy ? atb Mark 2 Quote Link to post

Let her be a puppy mate, get the ball rolling across the floor and her natural retrieving will kick in. She will sell her soul for little 1/4 inch pieces of liver when she`s older/ training but for now mate just bond, have fun, have patience mate. Lovely looking dog Jimmy Do get the 2/12 whistle Jimmy - there`s no rush remember. 1 Quote Link to post
