Anyone Catching Barbel Around Midlands

Been barbel fishing now on about 6 good sessions since the season started and still caught nothing apart from a couple of chub the best been 3 and a half pound. Even been doing night sessions as they normally more active and still nothing. Fished the Avon and Severn around Worcester and Stratford ways. Anyone having the same problem. Anyone got anywhere that's fishing well at minute, don't mind traveling an hour or so

There ain't a lot of water on the minute mate.

I think the Trent will be a better bet until there's a good bit of rain.

I enjoy fishing the teme but not till around sept/oct.

I've not seen anything on FB about anyone local catching on the wye,the monnow is very low so expect the wye to be as well.

Do you guys want to catch barbel no matter where.? If so, what about Thorpe fishery. Not that I know anything about the job but I'mm hearing that it's a good venue. MattyG must have heard a bit about it. Mind you, I've been waiting for 7 months for my Zander and the kids are looking like waifs. Ah well. Jok.

Postie this morning told me he's caught 2 on the wye,not the biggest though,an rivers awfully low,he's hoping decent bit of rain will bring it up abit.
