You could you remove a couple of floorboards under the settee or wardrobe and put the box in a floor cavity.Safety deposit box would be best or stored in a gun cabinet in your house.

This way, if there's some sentimental pieces in there, she'll still be able to get to them easily.

Cheers lads I'm still trying to convince of a safe deposit box but if I was to bury it I'd go down the pipe cache route

 

Does your mum keep an eye on the prices.

What point or reason would she cash in?
