Furrosious ferreter 499
Woke up this morning, went out to check the stinkers and the sandy came out with 2 of her kits but no polecat, so hopefully thought she had her litter but couldnt hear them. Peeked in to her box and felt so sad... she had her litter (7) but unfortunatly all had passed, after getting her away from them i had a quick look but couldnt tell what had happened. They had no marks on them, some had the plasenta still attached. I didnt know what to do so i put her buddy in with her for about an hour and she perked up abit, then i saw something that amazed me... the sandy went into the nest box where the polecat was and moved all the kits out into the corner of the hutch then returned into the box to cuddle up with the polecat. They arent related, and have lived together since october. It just shows what a strong bond they have... FF 1 Quote Link to post
